• I read your whole web page and I know that you, like myself, don't believe in killing or injuring people with weapons (especially explosives) to achieve anarchy. What are your thoughts on the Anarchist's Cookbook which promotes the use of weapons as an essential part of anarchy? I've looked at the book and it clearly details how to build explosives meant to harm or possibly kill the victim. In my opinion anarchy should be achieved through a semi-peaceful revolution. What do you think?

• I must begin by saying that I am not an avid user of the internet. Rarely do I indulge in the vast caldron of information made available through the net. During the last couple of hours, however, I have found myself diligently reading through the various anarchy pages and links available. The more I read, the more interested I became and the more difficult it was to stop. It is refreshing to learn that many of my thoughts and ideas are consistent with the concepts of anarchy and the views of its theorists. I plan on continuing my reading of these ideas, quotes, etc.., as I find them very inspiring. I believe that these pages\links are very important and necessary in this time of oppression

I'm 21 years old and I have considered myself an anarchist since the age of around 8, I believe that anarchy will work. unfortunatly, it will be very difficult to initiate it. Capitalism is on the verge of collapse, and I believe that as capitalism crumbles true Anarchy will prevail. You can already see that the powers that be are already afraid of the truth, with there campain of misinformation and lies, making us out to be violent and all that shit!!! • Congratulations on the first anniversary of your page. I'd have to say that it is something that has definitely played a part in changing my life and helped me find my true beliefs, as well as gotten me interested into politics and what really goes on with the government. A couple of months ago I started up my own web page. Unfortunately I have not taken the time to update it or really change it in many ways. Since I also have virtually no connections with political anarchists in my area, and few sources of information except on the internet, it's kind of hard cite facts and examples to support my beliefs except from off the top of my head. • About religion and anarchism... I once read about a priest somewhere who thought the only way to create God's kingdoom on earth was through anarchy. So an anarchist doesn't have to be an atheist. It's all in how you interpret the bible (or whatever). There's a whole lot of different people out there calling themselves christians you know. I'll get back to you with some info about that priest, if i can find it again...Beside that, i liked your page. Keep up the good work!

• I've stated this before- anarchism is a great concept, and I somewhat consider myself a leftist anarchist; but I simply do not think it will work because people (at least Americans) are fundamentally ignorant, complacent and self-serving, and they like it fine that way. If they weren't, the revolution would've come long ago. Anyway...

  Also, I take issue with your statement that to be an anarchist you have to be an atheist- A) who the hell are you to say what you have to be to be an anarchist? and B) believing in a God doesn't necessarily connote dogma or organized religion. I'm an agnostic Buddhist Christian Hindu Voodoo practicioner =) , and I haven't been to a church of any sort for five years. If you want my two cents (which you don't, but I'll shove it down your throat anyway) being an atheist is just as stupid as being a fundamentalist theist, because no one can say whether there is or is not a God, and while you can choose not to believe there is one, you can't state there's not one any more than you can state that there is one- the only intelligent thing to say is that neither you nor anyone else really knows.

  None of this is intended to be a flame though I obviously disagree with you on some minor points; I think you should do whatever you can to publicize anarchism. (I like your quotes, I hadn't seen many of them before.) Smash the state and all that,

• I was pleasantly surprised by your page. I guess the general stereotype about anarchists is that they just want to blow up and destroy things. That is unfortunate. Much of the stuff I saw on your page was the sanest, clearest thinking that I've seen yet about society. Anarchism certainly sounds better than capitalism (which seems more and more incompatible with the world today), and communist dictatorship (which failed).

  HOWEVER, I am sure that anarchy cannot really work. On a small scale, people can be without a hierarchial organization, and that is something that is *really* great, and I've always beleived in that. It is when you try to scale things up that you get a problem. In a large group, the actions of one individual have negligible effect on the society as a whole. If it was at all possible (and it would be without an unfair hierarchial organization), many individuals would try to live off the rest of society without contributing, and the society would collapse. It's just the nature of our species... :-(

  Anyways, those were just some thoughts I just had on the subject. Feel free to do whatever with them.

• Hi, very interesting site. The three core principles are very valid. It's just, unfortunately, the majority of people have no desire or interest in being free, and would rather be "taken care of" by those in positions of authority. I believe that is mainly because humanity has very little experience, if any, with freedom and independence and that, in turn, because of the lack of personal philosophy that allows independence of the spirit. Human spirit has been oppressed by the evil religions that enslave and keep people in fear and obedience.

  Also, how does anarchism differ from the libertarianism?

• First off, your web page is the best thing to hit the net, period. I know you probably get alot of mail, but please answer this if you can. My friend and I have been interested in the Anarchism for a while. We are trying to get others motivated, perhaps even start a group at our school for other 'hardcores'. • Is there a Anarchist Manifesto like the Communist Manifesto, which i just finnished reading. I'm right reading Evolution and Environment by Peter Kropotkin (sorry about the misspelling). Instead of destroying it on the spot, they claim they have to take into the united states to destroy it. But! (yes a but!) it winds up in hands of citizens manily minorities. Is it just me or is the US government trying to control the oppressed with CRACK? Also can you point out that blacks make up only 11% of the population (do the math) but over 60% of people on death row are black. How come people like Geogre C. Wallace and David Duke can run for president. I was joking around with my friends making fun of american poltics (were canadian) like Jesse Helms where they propose to oppress a hole nation (CUBA), we joked around saying that I don't see USA with free medicare! We realized that when people talk about maintaining the american way of life, it really means oppression of minorities, murder of opposing poltical parties (i.e. socailism, communism, anarchism. if it is a party)
